Mr. Delawie was sworn in as Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo on July 24, 2015 and presented his credentials on August 21. Previously, Mr. Delawie served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Verification, Planning, and European Security in the State Department’s Bureau of Arms Control, Verification and Compliance. In prior assignments, Mr. Delawie served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S



John A. Heffern, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, most recently served as the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) at USNATO, Brussels. Heffern has previously served as DCM in Jakarta, Indonesia and Executive Assistant to the Undersecretary for Political Affairs. Other previous posts include: USNATO; Tokyo; Malaysia Desk Officer in Washington; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Abidjan, Ivory Coast



Ambassador Deborah K. Jones, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, class of Minister Counselor, was nominated by President Obama to serve as the U.S. Ambassador to Libya in March 2013. She was confirmed by the Senate in May 2013. Ambassador Jones served as Scholar-in-Residence at the Middle East Institute from August 2012 to March 2013. Prior to that, she was detailed as Senior Facult



Ambassador Charles P. Ries recently retired from the Foreign Service after a 31-year career. During his last assignment, he was Minister for Economic Affairs and Coordinator for Economic Transition in Iraq. Prior to Baghdad he was U.S. Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Mr. Ries served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs between April 200
