AFSA is pleased to announce a new series of discussions focused on issues dealing with the Foreign Service as a profession. Topics will range from practical advice to deeper conversations about the nature of our profession and our duties and responsibilities as members of the Foreign Service.

 

You can never go wrong with practicing good tradecraft, whether arriving at a new assignment during the upcoming transfer season or working through shifts in leadership.This discussion will highlight fundamental skills and practices such as contact work, team building, and others that help focus and structure our work while consistently advancing U.S. interests during periods of adjustment.
